Celebrate the power of words, identity, and creativity at Speak Your Truth, an open mic night designed for LGBT youth ages 13-18. On World Poetry Day, we’re creating a space where your voice matters, your story shines, and your art inspires. 

Whether you’re a seasoned poet, a first-time performer, or someone who just loves listening, this is your chance to connect, share, and feel the magic of self-expression in a supportive and vibrant community. 

 What’s Happening: 

• Open Mic Performances: Share your original poetry, spoken word, or song lyrics in a safe and encouraging space. 

• Theme of the Night: “Voices of the Rainbow”: Explore identity, love, resilience, and pride through your words. 

• LGBTQ+ Library: Discover poetry books and zines by queer writers. 

No experience required — just bring your words, your passion, and your truth! Whether you take the stage or cheer from the audience, this night is about celebrating the beauty of who you are.
