Paint N Sip: Hispanic Heritage Month
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, this community favorite will begin with a short discussion of some of the most influential artists and works of Hispanic & Latin American Art, followed by a painting session incorporating Latin/Hispanic Heritage colors and themes. Enjoy a refreshing glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage while unleashing your inner artist in our LGBT-dedicated space. Beverages and art supplies provided, and no artistic training or skill required. Must be 21 years or older to attend.

For Us, By Us (FUBU) : Hispanic Heritage Month
FUBU (For Us, By Us) is a group for all LGBT BIPOC folx to unite and build community. September’s in-person group will celebrate Latinx identities in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Gather with friends, both old and new, as we discuss the intersections of Latinx and Queer identities together. Share your own experiences and/or learn about the experiences of our Latinx BIPOC peers in our community!

Sin Pelos En La Lengua (Group For Spanish Speakers) : Hispanic Heritage Month
En nuestro grupo “Sin Pelos en la Lengua” para el dia Miercoles 27 de Septiembre, 6:30pm, hablaremos de un tema muy importante, como lo es el del Mes de la Herencia Hispana con actividades divertidas como juegos y charlas. Conoceremos diversos personajes hispanos importantes a lo largo de la historia, que han contribuido en diversos aspectos con el desarrollo de esta gran nacion, especialmente en la comunidad LGBTQ+. Facilitado en Espanol.
This month’s “Sin Pelos en la Lengua” in-person group for people who mostly or only speak Spanish in Queens celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month. Through fun activities and lively discussion, we will highlight and celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic individuals who have contributed in various ways to the development of this great nation, especially those in the LGBT community. Además, sumérgete en la vibrante música latina, donde desde la salsa hasta reggaetón te harán mover los pies. Ven con tus amigos a latinear juntos ¡No te lo pierdas!
