United Colors is a dedicated space for LGBTQ+ BIPOC adults to navigate real talk and real life, then unwind with creativity, games, and genuine connection. Bring your whole self—we’re here for all of it. This month’s topic: Relationships come in many forms in the LGBTQ community. Some individuals are open to dating someone outside of their race, whereas others are quite comfortable dating someone from their community.
Some of us had to deal with discrimination and critique for doing either. Has your ethnicity/race been seen by others as a fetish or was it a non-issue? Were you ever made to feel like a ‘sell out’ for choosing to love someone of another race?
