We’ll get some expertise through presentations and videos then have time for a rousing and adult exchange on the topic. This week, we’ll discuss Transgender Day of Visibility- it’s history and why visibility is important.

Join us for another night of support and community with transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary folks of all ages. Our conversations can go anywhere, and are always interesting! This week we’ll be discussing Transgender Day of Visibility. What does visibility mean to us? Why does it matter? How does it affect us when we can’t be fully visible in our lives?
The LGBT Network relies on the support of their many volunteers to serve Long Island and Queens LGBT communities. As a volunteer, you will join the ranks of other kind, compassionate, generous, hardworking individuals who have affected tremendous and far-reaching change for our community.
