LGBTQ youth continue to face bullying in our schools, there is a lack of inclusion to ensure safe spaces for them, and anti-LGBT rhetoric and hate is on the rise. Through its Safe Schools Forums, the LGBT Network is bringing together youth, parents and families, educators, donors and funders, and other members of the community to share and highlight the challenges and needs of LGBT youth in our schools today. In doing so, the LGBT Network will continue its 30-year history of formulating and implementing strategies to create safer schools for LGBTQ youth.
