The LGBT Network’s Donor Collective Program provides unique and focused program-specific giving opportunities. Our Donor Collectives allow donors to make a bigger, more targeted impact with other like-minded people. Participating donors make a pledge of a meaningful amount (usually $1,000 or more) to advance pressing and urgent program needs. Not all participating donors need to pledge the same amount; some donors may pledge more or less than others.
The Donor Collectives Program is centered on one central tenant: Donors are only asked to fulfill their pledge when the LGBT Network has received all pledges needed to meet the specified program goal.
For example, if the Donor Collective is focused on a program need that costs $50,000, the LGBT Network would seek out pledges totaling the goal of $50,000. Once this goal has been reached with pledges, then the LGBT Network would inform all participating donors of this success and assist donors with fulfilling their pledge.

Donor Collective: FY23 Advocacy Initiatives
The LGBT Network needs support to expand its advocacy initiatives to build LGBT visibility and representation in our schools and communities:
- Launch our School Ambassador Program to engage parents and other community members to represent every school district in Long Island and Queens to speak-up and change the narrative of LGBT youth in our schools (Join here)
- Launch our Leadership Academy to train people to run and win for both School Board and Library Board seats to that they can be the voice for equality, equity, safety, visibility and opportunity on our school and library boards! (Join here)

Donor Collective: Mental Health Program
Our vision is to offer our mental health services at each of our four community centers as well as enhancing these services offered virtually.
- Expand and scale mental health services delivered in-person to each of our community centers.
- Enhance delivery of virtual mental health services that reduces barriers to obtaining help and support.

Donor Collective: FY23 Safe Schools and Workplace Initiatives
Support our legacy and flagship effort in schools – our Anti-Bullying LGBT 101 education programs as well as our emerging Workplace Initiative!
- Continue Anti-Bullying Programs in schools to build understanding with future generations and to stop bullying
