Winter Ball 2014 Announced - Partnership with Allegria Hotel Paves Way for Exclusive Venue for Annual Dance
The Long Island GLBT Network is proud to announce the date and venue for its annual Winter Ball Dance benefit.
This year’s Winter Ball will held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 7:00 pm to midnight at the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach – Long Island’s only luxury waterfront hotel. Winter Ball raises funds for The Network’s HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives and for services for people living with HIV.
The annual Winter Ball dance will feature a Rooftop Cocktail Reception with open bar overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and with panoramic views of the NYC skyline. Dinner and dancing will take place in the exquisite Grand Ballroom. The Network extends its special thanks to this year’s Event Committee working to raise funds through a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, ticket sales, and sponsorships.
Sponsors can include their name on the formal invitation by responding before Friday, October 17, 2014. Sponsors to-date include: TD Bank, North Shore LIJ Health System, Prudential, Town Total Specialized Pharmacy Services, and Host Sponsor Allegria Hotel (list in formation).
The Network extends its gratitude in acknowledging The Allegria Hotel as a new Corporate Partner. The Allegria Hotel offers event attendees an exclusive venue where the seaside glamour of The Hamptons meets the metropolitan style of New York City. Guests are welcomed with spectacular backdrops of the Atlantic Ocean’s rolling waves, sandy beaches, and breath-taking majestic sunset views. The Allegria Hotel is a wedding destination, offering ceremonies on the beach, elegant sit-down dinners, Rooftop receptions, and pampering hotel accommodations. The Allegria Hotel is offering a special room rate for Winter Ball attendees available by calling 516-992-3725 (use promo code “GLBT”).
As part of the Partnership, Allegria will serve as the Host Sponsor of the December 13th Winter Ball, and as the Wedding Pavilion Sponsor of The Long Island GLBT Expo on Sunday, November 9th.
