Painting for Pride Volunteer Event a Success
The LGBT Network is proud to announce the success of its first "Painting For Pride" volunteer event, which took place on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016, where over 50 volunteers came out to transform the LGBT Network's Bay Shore LGBT Community Center.
"The dedication of our volunteers is truly incredible," said LGBT Network COO Robert Vitelli. "For so many people to roll-up their sleeves on a Saturday and volunteer their time, it really speaks to the importance of these community centers in all of our lives."
All of the Center's public spaces received fresh coats of paint in vibrant new colors to enhance this cherished place which has been a home to the LGBT Community since it opened its doors in 1994.
