LGBT Network Announces Partnership with Nesconset Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

NCN Rehab Presents LGBT Network with $20,000 Check

The LGBT Network is excited to announce Nesconset Center For Nursing and Rehabilitation as a Corporate Partner for 2016.  This unique partnership provides operational support to the LGBT Network, while also providing extensive LGBT inclusion and sensitivity training for the entire NCN Rehab staff at its two facilities in Nesconset and Huntington.

“Everyone at NCN Rehab is thrilled to be a part of this innovative partnership with the LGBT Network for 2016,” said Robert Heppenheimer, Owner of Nesconset Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.  “It’s a tremendous opportunity for the NCN team to learn best practices from the LGBT Network’s highly-skilled community educators.  With this training, NCN continues its commitment to ensuring an LGBT-inclusive and affirming facility for all.”

“NCN is a leader and pioneer in the aging and rehabilitation sector,” said Robert Vitelli, Chief Operating Officer & Director of Development for the LGBT Network.  “While some facilities serving older adults ignore the existence of LGBT people as residents, NCN is embracing LGBT people, creating safe spaces at its two facilities.”
