    The 30th Annual Long Island LGBT Youth Leadership Conference brings together youth from all over Long Island to educate and empower participants to advocate for LGBT people and ignite their activism. Workshop offerings address the following topics:

    APPLY TO BE THE 2026 LGBT YOUTH LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE KEYNOTE SPEAKER

    Again this year, the NY LGBT Network is making sure the voices of Youth Leaders are front and center!  We are looking for a student to open this year’s annual Conference who can inspire, inform, rally your peers and/or speak truth to power.  Apply to be this year’s Student Keynote speaker!  You’ll get the opportunity to speak for 10 minutes to the entire conference audience about a topic you feel is important to LGBTQ+ young people in 2026 and beyond. This is your opportunity to shape the conversations and activism needed to secure safer spaces for LGBTQ youth during a pivotal moment in our history.  

     To apply, fill out the form here: Student Keynote Application by February 19, 2026 and upload the script for your speech. The speech should be approximately 1000-1250 words, which is the equivalent of a 10-minute speech.
