LGBTQ+ BIPOC Meet Up – RUSTIN

This is a space for queer people who identify as BIPOC (Black, Brown, Indigenous, Person of Color) to connect, play, share, learn, heal and find support. Mix and mingle with fellow BIPOC folx. Connect and build intentional community.  This month, we’ll honor Black History Month with a viewing and discussion of the film “Rustin” about the unsung hero of the Civil Rights Movement who was also a gay, black man. 

Tri-State Singles Meet-Up – Gay/Bi Men

Come meet and mingle with guys from all around Queens, Long Island, and the rest of the NY Metro area. Find friends, and maybe more. This week, we will discuss the contributions of Black men to the LGBT movement, and other social movements.

Join us for another night of support and community with transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary folks of all ages.  Our conversations can go anywhere, and are always interesting! This week, join us as we discuss the contribution of Black Trans and Non-Binary Folks to history and various social movements.

Sin Pelos en la Lengua (18+) (For Spanish Speakers)

En nuestro grupo “Sin Pelos en la Lengua”, hablaremos de un tema muy importante, como es el Mes de la Historia Afroamericana, con actividades divertidas y participativas, con juegos y charlas, donde aprenderemos sobre varias figuras importantes afrolatinx e hispanas. a través de la historia, figuras que han contribuido en diversos aspectos y desde diferentes perspectivas al desarrollo del mundo, especialmente de la comunidad LGBTQ+.

In our group “Sin Pelos en la Lengua”, we will discuss the important topic of Black History Month, through games and activities, we will learn about various important Afro-Latinx and Hispanic figures throughout history; Figures who have contributed in various ways to the development of the world, especially in the LGBTQ+ community.

Long Island Trans Experiance (18+)

Join us for a special LITE meeting as we gather to honor the intersectionality of identity during Black History Month. This meeting is dedicated to spotlighting the incredible journeys of transgender women of color – recognizing their resilience, contributions, and the vital role they play within the broader narrative of Black history. Join us in-person at the Hauppauge Center or virtually. Registration is required for virtual participation.
