The original Friday Night OUT on Discord, where LGBT youth come together to build community, express themselves, and feel empowered! This week, in honor of Black History Month, we will talk about LGBTQ activism and honor some of the incredible queer people of color who have led the way in our movement. As we celebrate these activists, we will learn from their leadership how to become even better advocates ourselves!

NYC Youth Leadership Coalition: Intersectionality of Identities

Youth from all over NYC are encouraged to join us for this interactive and fun virtual workshop to discover the pivotal role Black leaders have played in the LGBT Rights movement, and how LGBT rights and civil rights have been interconnected throughout history.
Youth Empowerment Advisory Team (YEAT): Queer Superheroes of Color

YEAT is an empowerment group focused on building confidence, leadership, and advocacy skills. Join other young leaders in peer-led discussions about life, love, and leadership. Topics are chosen by youth participants for the following month. For Black History Month, this week we will look at the evolution of Queer superheroes of color in various media, from comic book pages to animation to video games, and everything in between. Come zoom in for a community discussion on how representation has changed, and why these heroes are important to all of us and our community!
TGNCNB Peer Support Circle

Join us for another night of support and community with transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary folks of all ages. Our conversations can go anywhere, and are always interesting! This week, join us as we discuss the contribution of Black Trans and Non-Binary Folks to history and various social movements.

Come watch and learn together on a variety of topics from sexual health to relationships, and more. We’ll get some expertise through presentations and videos then have time for a rousing and adult exchange on the topic.
