LGBT Network Announces Affinity Program with Takuya Duncan for Anti-Bullying Program

The LGBT Network is proud to announce the launch of a new Affinity Program with corporate supporter Takuya Duncan, a NY-based premium menswear company.

For every purchase of a Takuya Duncan Hampton V-Neck T, $20 will be donated to the LGBT Network’s Safe Schools Initiative that works to stop the bullying of LGBT youth in schools throughout Long Island and Queens.

The anti-bullying program is a multi-faceted approach to creating safer schools with anti-bullying workshops for students, training for teachers and administrators, helping schools start gay-straight alliance (GSA) after-school clubs, youth-led organizing campaigns, and the nation’s only gay PTSA.   More than 10,000 students and teachers receive education and training services each year, and awareness campaigns engage nearly 90,000 in more than 80 schools.

The Hampton V-Neck T can be purchased online at takuyaduncan.com. Use coupon code LGBT at checkout for 20% off all Hampton V-Neck orders PLUS free shipping. For each V-Neck purchased, Takuya Duncan will donate $20 towards LGBT Network's Safe Schools Anti Bullying Initiative.

“Supporting the LGBT Network’s anti-bullying program is important to us,” says Takuya Duncan co-founder Takuya Suzuki.  “We know the need stop the bullying of LGBT youth, and we’re happy to be a part of the cause and help to get others involved, too.”  Takuya Duncan is a premium menswear line inspired by the casual lifestyle of the Hamptons combined with Japanese craftsmanship, in which East meets East-End.

The partnership was announced at the LGBT Network’s Summer Kick-Off Cocktail Reception on Saturday, May 28th at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club, at which Takuya Duncan donated its Emerson canvas tote for each major donor attending.  Each tote included a special promotion for the Affinity Program.

“The LGBT Network is proud to have Takuya Duncan as a partner in our efforts to protect LGBT youth in our schools – despite advances in LGBT equality, the need continues to grow,” says David Kilmnick, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the LGBT Network. Thank you Takuya Duncan!
