As the Assistant Program Manager, Leadership & Education for LIGALY and the LGBT Network, Steph runs the Pride Empowerment Project (PEP) Teams every week, spreading awareness and education on positive sexual health, and many other important Youth topics. Her role also includes assisting in the coordination and implementation of weekly OUTlet programs, which provide a safe space and fun atmosphere, for Long Island’s LGBT youth and their allies.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Theatre, Steph started at The Center as an active volunteer, assisting with front desk coverage, general office work, and lending a helping hand to the weekly OUTlet programs. While volunteering, Steph’s interest in Youth education and development peaked, and fueled her desire to become an even larger part of the LGBT Network family!
When she is not advocating for the rights and acceptance of Long Island’s LGBT Youth community, Steph spends her time with her friends and family, especially her wonderful husband, Dan, and their sweet shepherd/hound mix puppy, Mocha!
