Paul joined the LGBT Network in February 2017 as the Pride Events Manager to support an expansion of Pride-related events and activities throughout the year for the LGBT community.

Paul previously served as the Senior Services & Special Events Manager for Pride Center of Staten Island from 2013 to 2017, and was also responsible for SAGE (Services & Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Elders) Innovative Senior Center administration and programming.  Prior, Paul worked for 11 years with Best Buy Stores, from 2002-2013 in various roles, including 7 years as the Chair of the New York Metro Area LGBT Employee Business Network. 

Paul has been involved in the LGBT Community in various volunteer capacities, including serving on the Board of Directors of Long Island Pride Parade Inc., Way Out Media and Pride Alliance of Long Island. He has also volunteered for Out in Sayville, NYC Pride Rally, Brooklyn Pride, Philly Pride and Queens Pride.  Paul served on the Board of InterPride, the International Association of LGBTI Pride Organizers, as a Regional Director of the Northeastern United States, from 2005 to 2007 and 2009 to 2016. He is currently the Co-Chair of the organization's Governance Committee.

Paul, who grew up in Shirley, now lives in NYC with Shawn, his husband of 16 years and their 4 “kids”; Daisy, Super Kitty, Rey & Finn.  In his spare time, he is actively working on a plan to become the next Major League Baseball Commissioner by attending as many games and going to as many stadiums as possible.
