Fighting HIV/STIs

HIV/STD Testing

Free and confidential HIV/STD testing at our Suffolk, Nassau and East End Centers. Testing is available for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and Hepatitis C. See more information, scheduling, and appointment information at lgbtnetwork.org/testing


Appointment Accompaniment

Health Insurance Enrollments

Available at all locations and in the community. Certified staff members are on hand to answer questions about coverage as well as enroll you into a new health plan. This includes private insurance plans, Medicaid and Child Health Plus. Call 631.665.2300 for information or to make an appointment.


POZ Experience

A support group for people of all ages living with HIV/AIDS, regardless of whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with HIV/AIDS for years. POZ Experience meets at the LGBT Network Center at Bay Shore on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.


Sexual Negotiation and Prevention (SNAP)

Come learn the tools for having successful HIV risk-reduction conversations and how to combat different attitudes revolving around this serious issue in our community while also socializing with your friends. Everyone who completes the session will receive a $50 gift card. Ages 13-29. Van transpotration is available.


Project TORCH

Testing, Outreach, Recovery, Care for Health - Linkage to Care program for those who are in need of substance abuse treatment and support services. This free program is offered in both Suffolk and Nassau Counties to all LGBT and allied individuals of all ages. TORCH is designed to assist, guide, and support any individual through the steps of substance addiction and recovery.


Early Intervention Services

The Early Intervention Services Program (EIS) is for newly HIV diagnosed individuals living in Nassau County. This program is created to give individuals the needed support, guidance, and linkage to care services necessary to live a happy and healthy life.


Our Supporters
