The LGBT Network announces the first LGBT and LGBT-friendly senior housing development in the New York tri-state area. It will be built on the current site of the Long Island LGBT Community Center in Bay Shore. The development will have 50 housing units and will be anchored by a brand new, 6,000 square foot state of the art LGBT center for The Network. The new center will provide health, recreational, nutrition, social, cultural and other programs and initiatives.

OUTlet (formerly known as Club LIGALY), is the destination for LGBT youth, ages 13-21, and their allies on Friday nights! From 7 pm to 11 pm, young people from all over Long Island come to this unique, safe, and substance-free space to make friends and hang out. So, come find your outlet, dance, play pool, watch movies or just chill in the lounge!
Admission to is $2 (free to those who come to 3 other youth programs within 2 weeks) and ID is required for entry. Free van transportation is available on a first come, first served basis, so if you're interested in a spot on the van, call us at 631-665-2300 no later than Thursday.

The Long Island Trans Experience (LITE) provides social support services to transgender and gender non-conforming people of all ages, as well as their families, friends, and loved ones. LITE fosters an environment of energetic, diverse, and understanding individuals who are free to express themselves and develop personal growth in their identities.

SAGE-LI Mingles are the perfect opportunity for LGBT older adults to meet in a relaxed, co-ed environment. Light refreshments are served, and sometimes the group watches and discusses movies, plays board games, or participates in a community potluck. The Mingles take place weekly at four locations across Long Island.

The LIGALY Advisory Board (LAB) is your chance to be a leader in your community. Meet with other young LGBT leaders to make LIGALY the best it can be. LAB is made up of youth in responsible leadership roles that have an impact on LIGALY programs and events. You can head committees to plan trips, events, programs, OUTlet themes, fundraisers, and more. LAB is always looking for new members and offers leadership positions based on your personal strengths. Gain experience that looks great on a resume and have fun doing it. Open to all LGBT and ally youth ages 13-21.

The SAGE-LI OUTdoors program provides older adults with the opportunity to decrease social isolation, meet their peers, and experience what Long Island has to offer in efforts to enhance well-being.
