Christina Wilk completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at SUNY Cortland in 2007. She went on to work with an Office of Mental Health (OMH) agency working directly with individuals with a mental health diagnosis. While working in the field for over 2 years, Christina attended and received her Masters Degree in Social Work through Stony Brook University. She is a New York State Licensed Social Worker.
Christina went on to work as a HIV Case Manager with Options for Community Living for 4 years, where she counseled, empowered, and advocated for HIV positive families to maintain their everyday needs.
As the HIV/STD Program Manager, Christina oversees the delivery of HIV/STD testing, outreach, and prevention services for GLBT youth in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Christina also assists and facilitates various groups and events to engage and educate gay and bisexual young men and adults around positive sexual health.
On her down time, Christina enjoys watching Football, spending time with her friends and family, and sky diving.
